White Cat

Let me give some background first.
A few months ago we woke up to the sound of Gary eating, which would have been totally normal except Gary was laying at the bottom of the bed. David, realizing something was wrong, got out of bed to investigate. As he did we saw a white blur across our room and out through the cat flap. This would happen periodically over the next couple of months. We also began finding cat pee randomly around the house. Needless to say I wanted the cat gone, but David being the animal lover that he is wanted to get him fixed and let him hang around. Either way we had to catch the cat first.

So, Friday night we trapped White Cat ( as we later dubbed him) in our room and David dawned his cat catching suit. White Cat was under our bed so David grabbed his trusty racket to coax him out.

White cat tried to escape but you can't escape a man in a motorcycle jacket and gardening gloves. Sadly, my basil took a fall for the team. We were able to spare a few sprouts though.

David shoved White cat into the carrier and I slammed the gate shut.

Victory! For team Creek!
The next day we ran all over town looking for someone to take White cat off our hands. We even inquired about getting him fixed but apparently the spraying doesn't stop if the behavior had begun . Finally after two and half hours of running around town we took him to the Clovis SPCA where David said his final good-byes. David is now weighed down with guilt, he says he can still here White Cat's irritating cries at night because his blood is on our heads. But we couldn't having him peeing all over the nursery.
Farewell White Cat.

Dave is such a softy. I wouldn't have wasted two hours of my life. I would have taken white cat out back and shot it. (I'm evil, I know)

its rare that a moving target such as white cat stumbles into your house begging to be shot at. -nick-
