Halloween kind of snuck up on us this year and we didn't get to do a whole lot of our traditional things, such as carving pumpkins. We did how ever dress Evelyn up as a darling black kitty. She absolutely loved it. In fact, she wanted to where the ears all day. We also got to go to the ward trunk or treat where Evelyn learned the art of acquiring candy. She did a great job and loved following all the other kids around. She also liked the music, as always.

David recently received an few awards for his trek up Mt. Whitney with the Scouts. He also was asked to be the new Varsity Scout leader, YAY!!!
We are very proud of him and supper excited about his new calling. I know he will be great with those boys.
David is pretty excited too, a little nervous, but excited none the less.

Well, it was $2 Tuesday and we couldn't pass it up cause you have to go to the fair atleast once a year. We didn't spend a very long time there, maybe 3 hours but we got to see a bunch of exibits and all the animals and have a corn dog. Evelyn's favorite part was when we finally let her out of the snuggli and she got to dance to the live music. She also was mesmerized by all the animals. It was a lot of good family fun.
