5 Months

I don't have a whole lot of updates just yet, but this is my 5 month belly. Leonard is still very active and he has decided that my kidney is a good place to kick. The nursery is all painted and we have already moved Evelyn in. She adjusted just fine and loves all the extra space to play in. My belly has begun to itch and I am starting to get uncomfortable in bed but I have not moved to the couch yet so that is good. All in all this pregnancy is going great and FAST! I can't believe I have already reached the half way point, but here I am and I am very excited to add this new little one to our family.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween kind of snuck up on us this year and we didn't get to do a whole lot of our traditional things, such as carving pumpkins. We did how ever dress Evelyn up as a darling black kitty. She absolutely loved it. In fact, she wanted to where the ears all day. We also got to go to the ward trunk or treat where Evelyn learned the art of acquiring candy. She did a great job and loved following all the other kids around. She also liked the music, as always.

The Big Big Big Fresno Fair

Well, it was $2 Tuesday and we couldn't pass it up cause you have to go to the fair atleast once a year. We didn't spend a very long time there, maybe 3 hours but we got to see a bunch of exibits and all the animals and have a corn dog. Evelyn's favorite part was when we finally let her out of the snuggli and she got to dance to the live music. She also was mesmerized by all the animals. It was a lot of good family fun.

Evelyn enjoyed the corndog.

baby goats, aaahhh!

arn't we cute!

We tried really hard to get a good family photo, this is what we got.

Jackpot!!

So, I had a serious craving for cinnamon rolls today (thank you Rachael) so I asked my dad to pick me up a box of frozen cinnamon rolls from a bakery near his shop. he showed up with a box of 9 dozen rolls that he purchased for, get this, $2.50. Can you believe that?! and there not like the Pillsbury dough boy ones, these are huge rolls of deliciousness. I was able to fit 7 dozen in my freezer so I was forced to bake 2 dozen tonight and I have no regrets. Yummy! Thanks dad and thanks Rich's Bakery.

An Ittsy-Bitsy Kick

I am now 4 months along. My stomach has "popped" and so has my belly button. I feel pretty good although I am still having some trouble eating. I am starting to finally feel like I am pregnant, especially since last night I felt the baby kick for the first time. Last week David broke out his stethoscope and we found the babies heart beat, which was Supper Cool. Then a few days later he tried to find it again but had no luck. Instead, he heard and felt the baby kick. Sadly, I wasn't paying enough attention so I didn't feel it. So, David was the first to feel the baby, isn't that weird?! So, I have been trying to feel the baby, myself, every night since then and last night as I laid in bed, with the stethoscope to my belly, the kid kicked it three separate times. Each time it did I felt a silly little grin form on my face. It felt like someone flicking me from the inside and I loved it. I am so excited to be moving into this stage of the pregnancy, it is so fun to feel the baby and know that it is still there. I get find out the sex pretty soon and I am excited to put a name to this little miracle. Man, this pregnancy is going by so much faster than Evelyn's did I just hope I can be attentive enough to enjoy all the little Joys of this one like I did with Evelyn.

I forgot to post these earlier, I want to keep track of my doctor's appointments and the progress we are making. So here is what I missed...
